Since moving from Miami to Los Angeles in 2009, Aimee Carrero has shown her versatile talent on the small, big screen and stage in comedy and drama, as well as a very successful voice acting as the first Latin princess with Disney’s Elena of Avalor. She also took on the voice role of She-Ra for Netflix’s She-Ra and The Princess of Power.
Since her breakout role on The Americans in 2016, Carrero has been working non-stop. She can currently be seen on the big screen in Fox Searchlight’s The Menu starring Ralph Fiennes, which premiered in theaters November 22. The film had its world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival this past September. Directed by Mark Mylod, the film also premiered at Fantastic Fest to incredible reviews. Carrero plays the role of Felicity, one of twelve guests invited to a remote island to eat at acclaimed Chef Slowik’s (Ralph Fiennes) restaurant, when they all discover not it all as it seems.

Additional film credits include Mack & Rita, Wander Darkly, Holidate, The Last Witch Hunter, Alvin and The Chipmunks: The Squeakquel and the short Dylan (winner of Best Actress at the Cinema at The Edge Independent Film Festival).

Her role earned her an Imagen Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress – Drama (Television). Earlier this year, she was also seen in Paramount+ limited series The Offer. She recently completed production on the new Prime Video series The Consultant opposite Christoph Waltz. The series will premiere in the winter of 2023. Additional TV credits include the acclaimed animated series Elena of Avalor and She-Ra and The Princesses of Power, voicing the lead role in both series; Freeform’s Young & Hungry, an arc on Blindspot and The Village, American Horror Story, and Level Up.
On Stage, early this year, she made her Los Angeles Theater debut at the Geffen Playhouse in Edward Albe’s Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? in the role of Honey opposite Graham Phillips, Calista Flockhart and Zachary Quito. Additional off-Broadway credits include The Portuguese Kid at The Manhattan Theater Club and What Rhymes with America (Atlantic Theater Club).
