Rolando Cantú was appointed the TNF en Español analyst prior to Prime Video’s inaugural year of exclusive coverage in 2022. In addition to his role with TNF en Español, he continues his role as manager, international business ventures, with the Arizona Cardinals.
Cantú is the first Mexican football player trained in the Mexican collegiate system to become an active player in the National Football League. He won a World Bowl XII championship with NFL Europe’s Berlin Thunder in 2004 and was soon after picked up as a rookie free agent by the Cardinals under the international player program.
Throughout his professional career, he has provided Spanish-language commentary for Cardinals’ games and multiple Super Bowls. Cantú also helped build the Arizona Cardinals Spanish Radio Network.
Cantú attended the Monterrey Institute of Technology, where he won two national championships (1999, 2002) in the Mexican college league.
