Umang Singh is loud, sexual and confident. She swoops through Mumbai like a conqueror, switching jobs and lovers with equal practised ease. Siddhi Patel is the rich only daughter to socialite parents, and was born with a silver spoon in her mouth. Unfortunately, her mother wishes that spoon was filled with diet pills instead of calories. Siddhi struggles with her weight and the many hobby classes her mother insists she take to build up her marriage resume. The only two people in her family who seem to love her for who she is, is her father and her old nanny Julie Didi, and one of those two is dead. Anjana Menon would describe herself as a high powered lawyer second, mother first. Because three year old Arya has basically been her life since she split from her ex, Varun, a bit too careless and casual for Anjana's liking. Three years on, she's wondering whether she still has any woman left inside her, or whether she's all dried up with cobwebs growing over her vagina. Four More Shots Please! is a slice-of-life, brutally realistic portrayal of what it is like to be urban in a country caught in a constant battle between the traditional and modern, to be a thinking person in a country that seldom values its people, to be honest in a country that thrives on hypocrisy.
