Before her role as co-executive producer, Freisleben was executive in charge of production of Judge Judy. Prior to that, Freisleben had been senior vice president of legal and business affairs at CBS Television Distribution (CTD), where she provided all production-related legal work for Judge Judy. Previously, she was vice president of legal and business affairs.

Before joining CTD, Freisleben was a business litigation attorney in Los Angeles. She received her Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles and her undergraduate degree from the University of California at Los Angeles.
