Cast-Details: Mena Massoud

Mena Massoud is an exciting young actor making his mark with distinct choices in film and television.  Most notably, he was seen worldwide starring in the title role of the hugely successful Disney live-action reimagining of Aladdin, directed by Guy Ritchie and co-starring Will Smith. Mena landed ‘Aladdin’ amidst a well-documented worldwide search in which over 2,000 actors from London to Egypt to Abu Dhabi to India auditioned for the role.

Mena recently starred opposite Laura Marano in the Netflix original romantic comedy The Royal Treatment and is set to reprise his title role in the forthcoming Aladdin sequel. On the TV side, he most recently appeared in the Hulu series Reprisal with Abigail Spencer and produced by Warren Littlefield.

Outside of acting, Mena founded the company Evolving Vegan, which aims to introduce people to plant-based living and help them evolve towards that lifestyle at their own pace. He published the Evolving Vegan cookbook, which received financing and is being made into a travelling vegan food show.  Mena is hosting and producing the show through his production company Press Play Productions along with Bell Media out of Canada.
