Already solidifying himself as one of the breakout stars of 2022, actor Phillip Garcia is ready to make audiences across the country laugh with his upcoming dark comedy series Sprung premiering on Friday, August 19 on Amazon’s streaming service Freevee.

Born and raised in San Jose, California, Phillip grew up on the east side in a neighborhood called Alum Rock. After finishing high school, Phillip moved to Los Angeles and attended The American Musical and Dramatic Academy where he received a BFA in acting with a minor emphasis in Musical Theater.

Phillip’s television credits include Mayans M.C., Scandal, Animal Kingdom, Criminal Minds, Telenovela, as well as Hollywood blockbusters including Terminator: Dark Fate and OKJA, to name a few.

When Phillip is not busy in front of the camera or on stage, he can be found spending time with his wife in the Los Angeles area. Phillip is also a huge Bay Area sports fan, avid golfer and has a lot of love for the San Francisco 49ers, San Francisco Giants, and San Jose Sharks. Phillip is also very proud of his Chicano heritage and looks forward to getting more involved with his community and culture.
