Isaac Powell recently starred as Tony in Ivo van Howe’s acclaimed Broadway revival of West Side Story, for which he received an Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Actor in a Musical and was nominated for the Drama League Award for Distinguished Performance and the Antonyo Award for Best Actor in a Musical on Broadway.

Powell will be seen in the upcoming season two of the Amazon Original series, Modern Love, as well as Stephen Chbosky’s film adaptation of Dear Evan Hansen for Universal. Film credits include Dear Evan Hansen.

Two months after graduating from college, he made his Broadway debut as Daniel in the Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of Once On This Island, directed by client Michael Arden. He was also nominated for a Grammy Award for his work on the Once on This Island cast album. Powell was scouted on Instagram by the New Pandemics, an LGBTQ+ modeling agency. He has been featured in NIHL and Palomo Spain’s 2019 New York Fashion Week runway shows, as well as Converse and Helmut Lang’s print campaigns.

Powell received his BFA in acting from the University of North Carolina’s School of the Arts.
