Andrew Buchan is a stage, television and film actor best known for his role as Mark Latimer in the multi-award-winning drama Broadchurch. He recently starred in BBC limited series The ABC Murders with John Malkovich, and Genius: Picasso with Antonio Banderas. His film credits include Ridley Scott’s All The Money In The World, The Mercy, Still Life, Having You and Nowhere Boy. Buchan also produced and starred in the short film 1946, based on the life of Hollywood actor Jimmy Stewart, which won the Award of Distinction at the 2014 Williamsburg Independent Film Festival. Also in 2014, Buchan starred alongside Maggie Gyllenhall in Hugo Blick’s political thriller The Honorable Woman for BBC Two in the UK and Sundance Channel in the USA. Other television credits include The Sinking of Laconia, Party Animals, The Fixer and Garrow’s Law.

On stage, Buchan has appeared as Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet at the Royal Exchange Theatre and, in 2008, starred in Arthur Miller’s The Man Who Had All The Luck at the Donmar, earning him the Manchester Evening News Theatre Award for Best Actor in a Touring Production. Buchan has since returned to the Donmar in the role of Bolingbroke in Shakespeare’s Richard II. His most recent television credits include Spanish Princess, Carnival Row and The Crown, in which he played Andrew Parker-Bowles.
