Bill Heck is a classically trained actor with an MFA from NYU’s prestigious Graduate Acting Program. After that, he will return to shoot the series The Old Man for F/X. Based on the book by Thomas Perry, Heck plays the young version of Jeff Bridges’ Dan Chase. Heck can also be seen in the Netflix series Locke & Key and the Apple TV+ anthology series Little America. On stage, Heck played the central role in Horton Foote’s nine-hour epic The Orphans’ Home Cycle, directed by Michael Wilson. His work was nominated for Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle awards and won the Theatre World Award and Equity’s Clarence Derwent Award for Most Promising Actor. Heck went on to star as Joe Pitt, opposite Zachary Quinto and Adam Driver, in Tony Kushner’s Angels in America. He also portrayed Lorenzo alongside Al Pacino in The Merchant of Venice (The Public Theatre’s Shakespeare in the Park) and played Cliff in Broadway’s Cabaret with Alan Cumming (Roundabout Theatre), opposite Michelle Williams, Emma Stone, and Sienna Miller.
