Cast Detail: Desmond Chiam

Desmond Chiam was born in Melbourne, Australia, to parents of Chinese Singaporean descent. As a child, he spent a third of the year in Singapore as his father often worked there. He holds a law degree from the University of Melbourne and a master’s degree in Screenwriting from the University of Southern California.

Chiam can currently be seen as Dovich in the Marvel series The Falcon and Winter Soldier. Before that, he was the male lead on the ABC summer series Reef Break, recurred on Now Apocalypse for Starz, and enjoyed a supporting role on Disney’s feature Magic Camp. His breakout role in Australia was the villainous General Riga on The Shannara Chronicles. 

He currently resides in LA.
