José Luis García-Pérez is a Spanish TV and cinema veteran. Trained in the Andalusian Theater Center, he now has his own company, Digo Digo Teatro, which had great success with the play, Quijotadas, directed by García-Pérez himself. His role in the film, Cachorro, is one of his more memorable performances, for which he was nominated for a Goya in 2005. He is also no stranger to historical fiction having played Hernán Cortés in Carlos, Rey Emperador
