Lyttanya Shannon is a documentary director whose work has appeared on major networks across the UK and abroad. As well as directing on multi-award-winning series such as the BBC’s Ambulance and Hospital, she has also directed single-hour documentaries and episodes on box-set series for various channels – which foreground the voices of women and the black diaspora. Her priority is always to work collaboratively with her contributors, to highlight their agency and power in their own narratives.
