Pavun Shetty serves as Executive Producer on the Amazon original series The Boys.
Shetty is the Head of Television for Original Film, where he has been since July 2015. In this role, he oversees all television development and production under Original’s deal with Sony Television, which includes drama and comedy programming for both broadcast and cable. Shetty also executive produces the series S.W.A.T. for CBS and Happy! for SyFy, both of which are heading into their second seasons.

Before his time at Original, Shetty was Senior Vice President of Comedy for Chernin Entertainment. In this position, he served as Co-Executive Producer on the award-winning series New Girl on Fox and also produced critical favorites Ben & Kate and the animated Allen Gregory. Additionally, he oversaw all live-action and animated comedy development and current series, producing numerous network and cable projects for 20th Century Fox.
Before joining Chernin, Shetty served as Vice President of Development and New Content for Broadway Video, where he managed the award-winning series Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock. He also handled all aspects of new television development and contributed to film production through the Michaels Goldwyn Company at Paramount Studios.
Previously, he was Manager of Drama Programming for NBC Entertainment, where he covered both development and current series, including the international co-productions Crusoe, XIII, The Philanthropist, and Merlin.
Shetty began his tenure with NBC Entertainment as the Associate for Primetime Development, a position in which he played a key role in all drama development projects, including Life, Chuck, Bionic Woman, and Journeyman.
A 2003 alumnus of the esteemed NBC Entertainment Page Program in New York City, Shetty went on to serve as the assistant to Saturday Night Live creator Lorne Michaels in 2004.
Shetty was raised in the suburbs of Chicago and currently resides in Los Angeles. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he majored in Marketing and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
