Sarah Greene stars in Frank of Ireland as Áine. She recently appeared as Charmian Pepper in Roadkill for BBC One alongside Hugh Laurie and Helen McCrory. She portrayed Lorraine in Normal People, the adaptation of Sally Rooney's novel, directed by Lenny Abrahamson and produced by Element Films for the BBC. Greene played the series lead Cassie Maddox in Dublin Murders, which aired on BBC One and RTÉ. Greene is originally from Cork and trained in Dublin where she graduated from the Gaiety School of Acting in 2006.

Greene has been nominated for a TONY Award and an Olivier Award for her role as 'Slippy Helen' in Michael Grandage's production of Martin McDonagh's The Cripple of Inishmaan alongside Daniel Radcliffe. Greene starred in Jez Butterworth’s award-winning The Ferryman at the Gielgud Theatre and she appeared alongside John Boyega in Woyzeck at the Old Vic. Her other theatre credits include her acclaimed performance as Alice in the Abbey Theatre’s production of Alice in Funderland, her role as Sorcha in Paul Howard’s Between Foxrock and a Hard Place at the Gaiety Theatre, and her role as Amber in Guna Nua’s award winning production of Little Gem which won the Carol Tambor Best of Edinburgh Award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival which led to a tour of the production in New York, the UK and Ireland.
