Emmy Award-winner Rome Flynn is one of the most exciting newcomers currently making his mark in the industry on both the small and big screens.
Flynn will next be seen in the fourth season of the Netflix hit comedy-drama Dear White People, which follows several black college students at an Ivy League institution, touching on issues surrounding modern American race relations. Flynn was recently seen in 2020 in the sixth season of ABC’s highly successful Emmy Award-winning drama series How To Get Away With Murder opposite Viola Davis. Flynn plays Gabriel Maddox, the son of Sam Keating (Tom Verica) and a law student of Annalise Keating (Viola Davis). He first appeared in season five as a guest star before making such a strong impression that led to a series regular role.
In December 2020, Flynn was seen in Hallmark’s A Christmas Duet. In March of 2019, Flynn appeared opposite Tyler Perry in Lionsgate’s box office hit Madea Family Funeral. Also in 2019, Flynn was seen in North Air Entertainment’s 1/2 Year, a film inspired by ensemble films from the 1980s. Additional film credits include YouTube’s The Thinning: New World Order, Lifetime’s Ten and Lionsgate’s The Haves and the Have Nots.
Other television credits include CBS’s NCIS: New Orleans, MacGyver and VH1’s Drumline: A New Beat. He made his television debut as Zende Forrester Dominguez on the CBS daytime drama The Bold and the Beautiful, for which he won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series.
Aside from acting, Flynn is extremely passionate about pursuing his music career, focusing on R&B with his first single releasing 10/25 titled Brand New.
He currently resides in Los Angeles.
