She co-created and is currently producing the Amazon Original series Making The Cut, a premium fashion competition show with Amazon Studios. Prior, she produced ten seasons of the hit series Project Runway for Lifetime Television. Under her leadership, the show was nominated for ten Emmy Awards, won the Emmy for best host, received multiple PGA nominations and won a GLAAD Award. But, more importantly, the show also evolved into a series that promoted a message of acceptance and inclusivity. In addition, Rea’s producing experience includes shows such as NBC’s Sports Illustrated: Swimsuit Model Search, Fox’s The Simple Life, Spike TV’s Murder, MTV’S The Real World vs. Road Rules Challenge and Lifetime’s America’s Psychic Challenge. Prior to reality television, she produced more than ten nationally syndicated documentaries focusing on children’s issues, such as Autism, eating disorders, addiction, cutting and many more tough topics. She received four regional Emmy Nominations for her documentary work.
