Spandan “Spoon” Daftary is a senior coordinating producer for Thursday Night Football on Prime Video, where he is directly responsible for producing TNF’s pregame, postgame, and halftime shows. 

Prior to his role at Prime Video, Daftary most recently spent nearly nine years at FOX Sports, where he was the senior coordinating producer for FOX NFL Kickoff. In addition, he has contributed to several of the network’s major events, such as the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia and the FIFA Women’s World Cup France 2019.

Daftary has more than 15 years of experience in television, beginning his career at ESPN in 2003. He has won multiple Emmy awards, including two for Best Studio Show and one for Outstanding Trans-Media Sports Coverage. 

He graduated from Boston University with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism.
