Taylor Rooks was named a feature reporter for Prime Video’s Thursday Night Football wraparound coverage in July 2022, and will be contributing in-depth interviews with players, coaches, and other NFL figures to the streamer’s comprehensive pregame, halftime, and postgame coverage each week throughout the season.

Taylor Rooks was named a feature reporter for Prime Video’s Thursday Night Football wraparound coverage in July 2022, and will be contributing in-depth interviews with players, coaches, and other NFL figures to the streamer’s comprehensive pregame, halftime, and postgame coverage each week throughout the season.
In addition to her work on Thursday Night Football, Rooks works for Turner Sports, conducting interviews for Bleacher Report and contributing to special interview segments and appearances for NBA on TNT and other Turner Sports programming. She also hosts Taylor Rooks X, Bleacher Report’s first ever show built around an individual talent. Rooks was Emmy-nominated in 2021 for “Outstanding Personality/Emerging On-Air Talent.” In 2022, she was recognized by Black Enterprise as part of its annual 40 Under 40 list.
Prior to Bleacher Report, Rooks served as the reporter and anchor for SportsNet New York (SNY), and hosted her own podcast, Timeout with Taylor Rooks. She previously worked as a host and reporter for the Big Ten Network, as well as a sideline reporter for CBS Sports Network. A native of Georgia, Taylor attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she majored in broadcast journalism and reported on football and basketball recruiting for scout.com. She made national news with her stories and knowledge of basketball—specifically in recruiting, and interned with the PGA TOUR, Comcast SportsNet Chicago, and Fox Sports.
