Basgallop was also the creator and showrunner of Servant for Apple TV+. Running for four seasons, the series explores an affluent Philadelphia couple in mourning after an unspeakable tragedy creates a rift in the marriage and opens a door for a mysterious force to enter their home.
Basgallop has written and co-executive produced several US series, including 24: Live Another Day, Berlin Station, Outcast, and Resurrection. He also created the pilot Prototype for Syfy.
Before his career in the US, Basgallop wrote and created numerous series and films in the UK. From adapting William Golding’s seafaring trilogy in the BAFTA nominated To the Ends Of The Earth to chronicling the romantic exploits of Boy George and the formation of Culture Club in Worried About The Boy and beyond to the Emmy-nominated Moonshot, a film about the Apollo 11 moon landing for ITV. For the BBC, he also created Residents, Hotel Babylon, which ran for four seasons, and the critically acclaimed limited series Inside Men and What Remains.
