Troy Winbush is an American actor who studied his craft in New York City at The Actors Institute, The Herbert Berghof Studio and The Weist-Barron School of Television.
He began working in television at the ripe young age of 15 and shortly after that, landing a recurring role as Denny on The Cosby Show from 1989-1991. Winbush has enjoyed guest appearances on many notable television series including The Goldbergs, The Big Bang Theory, Scandal, Malibu Country, NCIS: Los Angeles, House of Payne, Castle, Rizzoli & Isles, Bones, Lie To Me, Monk, The Storm, Meteor, Law & Order, and Girlfriends, among a host of other successful, long-running television shows. He was also a series regular as Frank Powell on NBC’s Medical Investigation.

On stage, Winbush has appeared in Runaways and Purlie Victorious at the ACP Theatre Company, The Day the Bronx Died at the Long Wharf Theatre, The Gang on the Roof at Capital Repertory Theatre and Joe Turner’s Come and Gone at Stage West.
Winbush next stars as FBI Agent Dean Young in the Amazon Original series The Wilds. A stoic and authoritative – though not unkind – professional, Agent Dean Young is a seasoned investigator.
