    Emily Byrne (Stana Katic) is serving out the final days of her FBI suspension while working hard to be the best possible mother to Flynn (Patrick McAuley). When an international criminal case hits too close to home, Emily and her ex-husband Special Agent Nick Durand (Patrick Heusinger) can’t help but intervene, and Nick’s life is endangered.

    Following a sequence of deadly events, Emily must race against time to save Nick and realizes there’s a larger and more complex conspiracy brewing.  Emily’s demand for the FBI to go after Nick is met with resistance.  Taking matters into her own hands, she puts a risky plan into action, bringing her face-to-face with the one man who can lead her to Nick, Colin Dawkins (Geoff Bell). Orchestrating a clever ruse along the way with the help of her former FBI instructor, Rowena Kincade (Josette Simon), Emily heads off with Special Agent Cal Isaac (Matt Le Nevez) in search of Nick.

    During a chase from one mysterious location to the next, Emily makes a final attempt to rescue Nick, and confronts Cal about a secret she discovers. As threats still loom large, Emily resorts to drastic measures and makes a dangerous choice to ensure her family’s safety.

Log Line

Season 3 opens after the dramatic events of Season 2 with Emily nearing the end of her suspension from the FBI and working hard to be the best possible mother to Flynn. Everything is upended when one of Nick’s criminal cases hits too close to home and threatens the lives of the family Emily is desperately trying to hold together. It’s a dangerous journey that will take Emily far from Boston testing her like never before and forcing her to learn to trust again, to love again, and to finally realize her true place in the world after everything she’s been through.

Nick continues to be tortured but finds an opportunity to try to escape from his captors. Cal and Emily head off to rescue Nick and become closer along the way. When they reach the mysterious location, they find evidence that links to Nick’s case back in Boston, but there’s no sign of Nick.
