    Season two picks up from the events of the season one finale which saw Robyn’s work and home life collide catastrophically when she could no longer resist the temptations of her myriad of addictions. She has sacked PR intern Melody (Rebecca Benson, The White Princess) - for her own good - but closer relationships could be damaged beyond repair. Will Eve (Lydia Wilson, Requiem) ever forgive Robyn, and on a broader scale, will Mills Paulson PR ever be the same again? Their boss Caroline (Sophie Okonedo, Chimerica) has bigger fish to fry in a shakeup that could change her business forever. Throughout all this the team continue to try their best to keep the outrageous indiscretions of their celebrity clients firmly behind closed doors.

    Season two also welcomes guest stars Sam Neill (Jurassic Park and Peaky Blinders), Daniel Dae Kim (Lost, Hawaii 5.0), Martha Plimpton (The Good Wife), Jane Horrocks (Absolutely Fabulous), Doon Mackichan (Smack the Pony), Kevin Bishop (In the Long Run) and Paul Ready (Motherland).  Stephen Moyer directs Episode 5 & 6. Arinze Kene, Marc Warren and Amanda Abbington return as guest stars.

Robyn remembers back to the troubled days leading up to her mother, Clara’s, suicide. In the present she collects even more prescription drugs from her dealer American Mike as her recovery slides further out of sight. Gabriel grows more infatuated with Eve. And Mills-Paulson turns their hand to staging a riotous photo for the campaign of a London Mayoral hopeful, William Pendleton.

Robyn’s grip on her personal life begins to slide even further as she goes on a drug induced bender, unable to be contacted by any of her colleagues. Caroline, her daughter and grandchildren attend Duncan’s funeral, where Caroline learns that Damian, his son, has been left a major share of the company.

Robyn resorts to harder drugs as her life starts to spiral. A vigilante website claims that an elderly environmental presenter is the historical abuser of actress Alexa a client of the agency. As the team try to smooth things over, Alexa reveals she was never abused, but made the whole thing up in the wake of the #MeToo movement, leaving them in a precarious dilemma.
