Damini Rizvi Roy is having a mental and emotional meltdown. Investigator, the company she's built from ground up, one of the country’s more credible websites for investigative news, seems to be going under. Defamation suits, show cause notices, pressure from political targets, absconding witnesses, advertisers deserting her and opting for her trashy competitors, investors threatening to pull out all funding unless she changes her course drastically. Damini didn't leave Delhi and her father's media empire only to be knocked down by fate again. Nope, she's going down fighting. Unfortunately, this is taking a toll on her slight compulsions, making them full-on OCD tics. Will her sexy therapist help? Or will it take Jeh, the secretive and flirty bartender/owner of Truck to distract her from her woes? Men can't save the day but maybe a bunch of women can. Damini's girl squad, the women who lift her spirits up when she's feeling beaten and bruised by the world, the women who offer the most insane conversations and really bad advice over shots of tequila. They’re far from perfect and they have plenty troubles of their own. But that’s the magic of this girl squad. They don’t yearn for perfection. Siddhi Patel is the rich-only-daughter to socialite parents and was born with a silver spoon in her mouth. Unfortunately, her mother wishes that spoon was filled with diet pills instead of calories. Siddhi struggles with her weight, her dates which always end in disaster and the many hobby classes her mother insists she take to build up her marriage resume. Yep, you heard that right; marriage resume. The only two people in her family who seem to love her for who she is, are her father and her old nanny Julie Didi, and one of those two is dead. Desperately seeking approval, Siddhi stumbles on to a cam girl website where her virginal eyes are opened wide as she realises the excitement of taking her clothes off for virtual strangers. It's just the sort of gossip the “new, improved” Investigator is all about. Before Damini can prevent her unethical reporter from going live with the support of the board members, the story has broken and in a matter of seconds, ends up going viral many times over. Will this end Samara’s career and more importantly, will Umang ever be able to forgive Damini for taking away from her the one relationship that gave her the space to be herself?
Anjana Menon would describe herself as a high powered lawyer second, mother first. Three year old Arya has basically been her life since she split from her ex, Varun, an Indie filmmaker who, despite his best efforts, could never do enough for Anjana and Arya. They spent their youth wanting the same things but once married, priorities changed and Anjana found herself doing everything that Varun had promised he would do. Three years post divorce, Anjana is left wondering if she’s ever going to have sex again or if her vagina will dry up and grow cobwebs. That's what her vagina, Ms VeeVee in the form of an old, crotchety nicotine laced voice, would like to know as well! Under pressure from Ms VeeVee, Anjana tries out a vibrator, gets hooked onto Tinder which leads to horrendous dates and flirts with the very age inappropriate new intern at her office, Arjun. Seems like a pretty good problem to have except when after an accidental drinki and drive, Varun decides that not only does he want sole custody of Arya but he also wants to move to another city with Kavya and Arya. How is Anjana going to juggle helping her friends out, helping herself out and still manage to keep her kid?
