Amazon Prime Video Releases the Teaser Trailer of the Amazon Original Docuseries The Challenge: ETA

LONDON, UK – August 26th , 2020 – Amazon Prime Video has today shared the teaser trailer for the new Spanish Amazon Original docuseries, The Challenge: ETA. The new series, which will launch worldwide this fall, tells the story of the terrorist group starting from its first murder in 1968, to its dissolution in 2018 and the fight of the Spanish government and the Civil Guard against them. The docuseries recounts an unprecedented historical journey through never-before-seen testimonies from key figures of the time and unpublished images.

The Challenge: ETA is a documentary series told by real people. It includes in-depth interviews with four former Presidents of the Spanish government: Felipe González, José María Aznar, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero and Mariano Rajoy, who faced the terrorist organisation both politically and with police forces. It also includes the testimonies of ex Lehendakaris, Garaikoetxea and Ardanza Fernando Almansa’s - former Chief of the Royal House, journalists, top officials of the Spanish military police, including Manuel Sánchez Corbi, and ex-ETA members. These testimonies narrate their most difficult and risky operations to neutralise the successive commands. Comprising of over 80 interviews, The Challenge: ETA tells the story of one of the most tragic events in recent Spanish history revealing the true extent of the decades of terrorist activity that resulted in more than 800 deaths.

The Challenge: ETA is a new eight episode Amazon Original docuseries, only available on Prime Video. It is produced by Cuerdos de Atar, executively produced by Luis Velo and Guillermo Gómez and directed by Hugo Stuven.
