Mar 01, 2024

21 Yankees games will be available to stream exclusively on Prime Video throughout the Yankees’ home-team footprint

19 games in the schedule to stream on Prime Video on Wednesday nights

NEW YORK— March 1, 2024 —Today, Amazon announced that 21 New York Yankees regular season games will stream exclusively on Prime Video this season, available at no additional cost to Prime members in the Yankees’ home-team footprint of New York State, Connecticut, north and central New Jersey and northeast Pennsylvania. The first exclusive New York Yankees game on Prime Video is scheduled for Wednesday, April 10th, when the Yankees host the Miami Marlins (7:00 pm ET). 19 of the 21 games will stream on Wednesday evenings. The addition of these Yankees games on Prime Video brings more premium baseball to Prime, which provides unparalleled savings, convenience, and entertainment, all in a single membership.

YES’ Emmy Award-winning broadcast team, in collaboration with Prime Video, will return to produce the 21 Prime Video games. Prime Video’s 30-minute pregame show returns, with YES’ Meredith Marakovits hosting pre-game shows for home games as she previews the games, highlights marquee matchups and top players, and provides key insights and stats. YES’ Bob Lorenz will host pre-game shows for away games while Marakovits provides live interviews and reports from the field.

Returning this season behind the mic for Prime Video’s Yankees in-game coverage will be YES Network play-by-play announcer Michael Kay. Entering his 33rd year as the voice of the storied franchise, Kay will be joined by YES analysts David Cone, Paul O’Neill, Joe Girardi, John Flaherty and Jeff Nelson.

Yankees games on Prime Video will again feature Amazon’s X-Ray technology, powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS), allowing viewer access to live in-game stats, team and player details, and real-time play-by-play information for fans streaming on Android, iOS mobile, and Fire TV. Prime Video’s live Yankees games will be available to MLB.TV subscribers outside the Yankees’ home-team footprint.
